22 year old Capetonian, Emily Child, recent graduated from a 4 year Theatre and Performance Degree at UCT, specialising in acting. She started her in film and television before she started school and has presented, acted in and voiced several local and international film and television series. She is young and energetic and is certainly a name to look out for on the local theatre circuit and on national television during 2008.

Emily recently won the Award for Best Student at the 43rd annual Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards which took place at the Baxter Theatre at a glamorous ceremony held in Cape Town on 9 March 2008
